It’s that time of the year, folks
With NFL Draft season officially cranking up, it’s time for this year’s Underwear Olympics. . .er, the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Scouts, coaches, and general managers from around the NFL will be descending upon Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to watch this year’s top Draft prospects run really fast, jump really high, and lift a lot of weight.
NFL Network will be providing extensive coverage of this year’s Scouting Combine, as they do every year. Here is a list of the events and other workouts that will be taking place, with a couple of positions that fans of the Minnesota Vikings might be interested in highlighted.
On Tuesday, 25 February, at 11:30 AM Central, Vikings’ head coach Kevin O’Connell will conduct his 15-minute speaking session in Indianapolis. GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s 15-minute talk will follow immediately thereafter at 11:45 AM Central time.
I’m not sure if these are going to be available live anywhere. If they are, we will effort put them up on the site here somewhere, even if it’s just a transcript or something.
As mentioned, you can watch the Scouting Combine on the NFL Network, or on the NFL+ app on your phone or other mobile device.
NFL.com will also be tracking the Combine results as they do every year. In addition, they are doing something new that they’re calling “Combine IQ,” which they’re touting as “a Next Gen Stats experience powered by Amazon Web Services that brings more data, tracking options, and insights than ever before. Fans can get live updates on combine happenings while customizing the experience to track, compare, and contrast different variables.” It will be interesting to see what that looks like.
Will you be watching the Scouting Combine this week, folks?
