Sportsnaut Sportsnaut

Fans are always debating player rankings, and when it comes to the NFL, no position is more hotly debated than quarterback. This is why we continue to maintain our NFL QB rankings year-round.

Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow are widely viewed as some of the best players in football. While they set an elite standard for quarterback play, our 2025 NFL QB rankings capture how all 32 starting quarterbacks perform every week. Updated weekly throughout the season, who are the best NFL quarterbacks right now?

  1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (LW: 1)

Lamar Jackson was both good and bad in the Baltimore Ravens‘ Monday night loss. Sure, he was efficient, completing 21-of-27 pass attempts for 288 yards and three touchdowns. But he was also somehow sacked seven times for a loss of 55 yards. Still, with nine passing touchdowns and zero interceptions, Jackson is having a fine season.

  1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (LW: 2)

For the second week in a row, Josh Allen didn’t put up big numbers (213 passing yards), but he was efficient (completed 22-of-28 passes) and effective (3 TD). Allen has yet to throw an interception, and his MVP campaign is still on track thanks to helping lead the Buffalo Bills to a 3-0 record.

  1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 3)

The fears of a 0-3 start are dead. Patrick Mahomes can relax ever so slightly, but he can’t exactly rest after a game that featured plenty of cracks in the foundation. Nevertheless, the Kansas City Chiefs got their first win after Mahomes completed 22-of-37 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown. We imagine this operation will get much smoother once Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice return, in time.

  1. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 5)

Justin Herbert has thrown his first interception of the season after having just three picks last year. He actually had a rough afternoon, completing just 54% of 47 attempts, though they went for 301 yards and a touchdown. But he also took five sacks. The Chargers are 3-0, but one can’t help but feel like a better team could have knocked them off today.

  1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 6)

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offense started slow, scoring just seven points through two quarters. But he caught fire in the second half, contributing to 26 points in the final 30 minutes of play. Overall, Hurts completed 21-of-32 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns. He even added another 40 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground for a dominant fantasy football performance despite a lost fumble.
