Here’s everything you need to know about the NFC Championship game.

The Philadelphia Eagles will host the very familiar Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon. The last stop before the Super Bowl.

It’s not going to be a snow game, but these two teams don’t need any extra challenges when facing each other for the third time this season. Each team has one win under their belt, with the Commanders getting the most recent win in Week 16 — the game Jalen Hurts was concussed in the first quarter and C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected and missed the second half.

Players and coaches from both teams have acknowledged this week the difficulty facing someone so often and someone in their own division. Plus, this Commanders team has just enough veteran coaches and players to help their rookie QB and other young guys through the intensity of the playoffs.

Still, the Eagles are ready to go. They’ve stayed focused and on mission. There’s been a bit of good news/bad news on the injury front, but it looks like most players will be available. Cam Jurgens popped up on the injury report early in the week with a back issue, and while he was listed as questionable, the expectation is that the center will be able to play. Landon Dickerson did get some work during the week at center just in case, though.

The Commanders will be a tough test, but at this point in the season, it’s about the Eagles. On paper, they have everything they need to win the NFC Championship and return to the Super Bowl. Head coach Nick Sirianni has talked about all the things they’ve learned and the adversity they’ve overcome since their last trip to the Super Bowl, and hopefully with a win on Sunday, they’ll be able to make use of all those lessons.

For now, though, they need to beat the Commanders — including several guys incredibly familiar with the Eagles, including Zach Ertz, Olamide Zaccheaus, Marcus Mariota, and Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Pass Game Coordinator Brian Johnson.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
