Lets take a look at who the experts and analysts currently have the Broncos taking in the 2025 NFL Draft.
With the Shrine Bowl, Senior Bowl, and all the other All-Star games in the rearview mirror, we are officially in draft season. Next up comes the NFL Scouting Combine at the end of the month where we’ll see all the top prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft. That is when we begin to start seeing things more clearer when it comes to the draft.
For now, we are coming off the All-Star games, and we saw multiple drastically help their draft status while others may have hurt their stock. So, let us take a look at which players the most recent mock drafts have the Denver Broncos selecting in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
20. Denver Broncos
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Loveland is one of my favorite players in the entire class; he’d give coach Sean Payton and quarterback Bo Nix another target in the passing game to complement receiver Courtland Sutton. Loveland, who battled through injuries in 2024, can line up all over the formation but is at his best as a flex tight end. He ran the full route tree at Michigan and has the grace of a wide receiver at 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds.
The Broncos are a team in transition as the front office starts adding more playmakers around Nix. Finding him a young safety valve to grow with is the best roster-building move and would open up the middle of the field in the passing game.
51. Denver Broncos
Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa
Payton might say he prefers a committee approach at running back, but the Broncos need a lead back after getting only 513 yards from their No. 1 rusher (Javonte Williams, now a free agent) this season. Johnson rushed for 1,537 yards for the Hawkeyes in 2024 and shows downhill running ability and vision on stretch plays.
Building around Bo Nix should be the priority in Denver. Adding an athletic pass catcher with good size like Loveland could be high on the Broncos’ list of priorities.
This defensive line class is incredibly deep and in previous years Nolen probably goes off the board a little higher. Either way, he explodes off the ball while also being strong as an ox. At 6-foot-4, 290 pounds, he won’t be mistaken for, say, Dexter Lawrence, but don’t be fooled; he can plays stout against double teams, and is quick to get off blocks and get to the ball.

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
*This selection is all about investing in Bo Nix’s development. Colston Loveland is a capable three-down tight end. Loveland is being slightly underrated throughout this process after being a victim of...
