There is still a lot of talent left on the board as we head into the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft
The Tennessee Titans answered the biggest remaining question on their roster last night, drafting Cam Ward with the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. Now they will move on to addressing the rest of the needs they have with wide receiver and EDGE at the top of the list. They currently only have one pick tonight at 35. It would be nice if they could turn that pick into two picks tonight, but if not, they are going to have a chance to get a talented player.
It will be interesting to see how things play out with the quarterbacks tonight. After buzz that Shedeur Sanders, Tyler Shough, and Jalen Milroe could all go in the first round, it was just Ward and Jaxson Dart that were picked last night. Sanders could go to the Cleveland Browns with the first pick tonight, but if they choose to go a different direction, it could be another long night for the Sanders camp.
At WR, the top available players are Luther Burden III from Missouri, Jayden Higgins from Iowa State, Tre Harris from Ole Miss, and Jaylin Noel from Iowa State.
At EDGE, the top available players are Mike Green from Marshall, Donovan Ezeiruaku from Boston College, Jordan Burch from Oregon, and JT Tuimoloau from Ohio State. There is good depth with this group.
If you would have told me three weeks ago that the Titans could come out of the first two days of this draft with Ward and Burden, I would have been thrilled. The league is obviously not as high on Burden as most of us thought heading into the draft. That could result in a huge steal for the Titans.
Which player still on the board do you want the most on the Titans heading into night two of the draft?
