The 2025 NFL Combine is here, and that means it’s really time to start digging into our NFL Draft coverage. For the past week, we’ve been doing a positional preview for the NFL Combine (you can catch the latest edition here). But on Sunday night, we recorded our full preview for the event.
To begin our discussion, we talked about the long-term needs of this team and what positions are in play early in the draft. Then our show shifted into which NFL Draft prospect we should be paying attention to. Should we bother looking at top-20 prospects? Is there a legitimate chance Lions general manager Brad Holmes makes another move up in the first round like he has already done twice in four years?
Another big part of the NFL Combine is the media sessions. With Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes and both coordinators expected to meet with the media, what do we want to hear from them? What won’t we hear from them.
And then to close out this week’s show, we introduce some of our favorite 2025 NFL Draft prospects and discuss our expectations for them during Combine week. Will they pop off in the on-field drills? Will they fit the Lions’ vigorous character evaluation?
