One Philadelphia Eagles fan just got the worst news ever after what should’ve been a great night of partying on the street while celebrating the team’s 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
A video from the streets showed one male fan falling from a light pole while extremely high near what appears to be an Eagles banner.
Suddenly, that fan fell to the ground after losing his grip. His legs collided with a street sign as he tried and failed to hold onto it as he continued to descend.
His body then appeared to turn as he fell back and head-first to the ground.
Reports at the time indicated that the Philadelphia Eagles fan was on the ground for over 30 minutes and transported to Jefferson Hospital with a brain injury from head trauma.
His condition has only gotten worse since then.
ABC 6 reports that the 18-year-old is on life support as a result of that fall at 15th and Market Streets in Center City, Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Eagles fans were not on their best behavior during their celebrations in the street.
Aside from one fan fighting for his life after falling from a light pole, Philadelphia police are reportedly investigating an alleged gun firing that also occurred amid a celebrating crowd of fans.
In a video of the moment shared to social media, a person could be seen lifting their arm into the air and firing off three shots before a bystander says, “I believe that was a gun.”
No one was hurt, but somebody like that needs to face consequences to prevent others from trying to do the same.
