10 things overheard as the Chiefs beat the Raiders in Week 13

You won’t believe what we heard while Kansas City was defeating Las Vegas.

On Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs handed the L:as Vegas Raiders a 19-17 defeat in the NFL’s Week 13. Here’s some of what Tom Ruprecht overheard on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

1. “I have fond memories of watching the day-after-Thanksgiving game with my Dad on our old black-and-white Amazon.”
2. “Do you think Matt Eberflus tried to finally use that timeout as the Bears were firing him?”
3. “I’m guessing Maxx Crosby is thankful he gets to go up against Jawaan Taylor.”
4. “Did anybody remember to tell Wayna Morris the day after Thanksgiving is a work day?”
5. “Does Amazon have any ‘Black Friday’ deals on left tackles?”
6. “So, Mr. Bezos, how does it feel to pay $100 million for a 3-3 game?”
7. “Okay, what streaming service do I need so that I can see the plays Amazon misses when the officials accidentally call for a commercial?”
