The New York Giants will report to training camp in a few days to begin John Harbaugh’s inaugural season as head coach. With the team being led by a Super Bowl-winning head coach and quarterback Jaxson Dart entering his second season, there’s optimism that the Giants are on the right track. However, there are many questions surrounding New York that will ultimately determine their success this season.
Here’s a look at the 10 biggest questions facing the team as they head into 2026 training camp.
After completing 63.7% of his passes with 15 passing touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns as a rookie, the sky seems to be the limit for Jaxson Dart. Most quarterbacks make their biggest strides from year one to year two, which has fans salivating on how good he can be in 2026.

Other key additions to the front seven include linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and defensive lineman Shelby Harris. Whether or not the new additions make a significant improvement in the run defense will be something to watch the entire year.
After it was revealed that Malik Nabers had a second surgery on his knee, speculation began on when we might see the star receiver back on the field. As much as the team would like for him to be on the field for Week 1, it’s more important to have him on the field when he’s fully healthy.
The Giants report to training camp on July 28th, which is ironically also Nabers’ 23rd birthday. On that day we’ll get insight on whether Nabers will participate at some point during camp, or if he’s likely to start the year on the PUP list.
Matt Nagy is the team’s new offensive coordinator, and there’s always a learning curve when learning a new system, especially with all the new skill position players that were added this offseason.
The team will have training camp, three preseason games, and a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins on August 20th to get acclimated to Nagy’s system. It will be interesting to see if Harbaugh plays his starters in the preseason longer than usual, to make sure the offense is clicking on all cylinders in Week...
