NFL Week 4 featured several action-packed games, big days from some Super Bowl contenders (the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles), and some breakout afternoons from teams that really needed it (the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants). However, there is a flipside to that coin, and several teams, players, and coaches had days to forget.

But who were the worst of the worst? We answer that with our rundown of the 10 biggest NFL Week 4 losers.

Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers has the talent to be the best wide receiver in the NFL. However, that potential may be forever gone after NFL Week 4. In the Giants’ upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers, the gifted pass catcher likely suffered what will be a season-ending knee injury. Can he recover and get back to the Pro Bowler he was last season? Yes. But it is far from a guarantee, and there is just as good a chance he never can. Nabers had such a bright future that just got a lot of doubt cast on it this Sunday.

Cam Ward

Following another loss on Sunday, Tennessee Titans rookie QB did not hold back when assessing the team’s play in NFL Week 4. “If we keep it a buck right now, we a**,” he said. “We’ve dropped a quarter of our f****** games.” The former Hurricanes star is finding out fast that while it is an honor to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, it also means you’re headed to a team with a whole bunch of problems you can’t fix by yourself. This is going to be a long year for Ward.

Saquon Barkley

Is Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley the best on the planet? Yes. But he is still having a very underwhelming season. He has 237 combined yards through four games this year. He had 351 through just three in 2024. He doesn’t have one game over 100 yards and peaked with 88 in Week 2. There is reason to be concerned about Barkley and the Eagles’ run game.

Los Angeles Chargers

NFL Week 4 was set up perfectly for the Chargers to get to 4-0. Sure, they were flying cross-country to face the Giants, but it was a New York team debuting a rookie QB, and they lost their top player, Malik Nabers, in the second quarter. Yet, they were shut out in the first and final quarter and were on the wrong end of Sunday’s biggest upset.

Brian Callahan

After being shut out on Sunday and dropping to 0-4, Titans head coach Brian Callahan may be in the hottest seat in the NFL. He is 3-18 now, and the former Bengals offensive coordinator has not turned Tennessee’s offense into a unit worth respect. There were always going to be struggles starting a rookie QB from Week 1. However, if things continue like this, Callaham may not get to finish his second season in Nashville.
