It wasn’t always pretty, but the Jets found a way to win for the second game in a row. Of course, getting two special teams touchdowns, on on a kick return, and another on a punt return certainly helped. If New York can’t get consistent production out of their offense, then other playmakers will have to keep stepping up. Thus, the best way for the Jets to compete against an elite Patriots team may be by finding the end zone on special teams again.
After starting the season at 1-6, few expected the Dolphins to have the same record as the Commanders for this Week 11 matchup in Madrid. Yet, after a season full of struggles on both sides, the Dolphins and Commanders both sit at 3-7. Penix’s career-high still sits at 313 yards. He’s struggled greatly with completing a respectful amount of passes, sitting at just 53.4% over the past three games. Carolina’s defense has improved drastically, but they’re still prone to big plays, ranking 25th in yards per pass attempt.
The Bills are one of the NFL’s best teams, but if there’s an issue, it’s the defense. Buffalo’s rush defense is particularly bad, ranking 30th in yards allowed, while being 31st in touchdowns and rush yards per attempt. They’ve allowed teams to rush for 189 or more times four times. Which means it could finally be time for Tampa Bay’s breakout performance, as they haven’t topped 169 rush yards all season....
