It has been a difficult season for the New York Jets. The team enters Week 13 action against the Atlanta Falcons with a 2-9 record. Last week’s game ended with the Jets losing to the Baltimore Ravens in a pretty listless performance. That hasn’t dimmed confidence in the team’s future, though. In this week’s SB Nation Reacts poll, a majority of Jets fans expressed optimism in the team’s direction.

I have to say these results are a bit of a head scratcher. Last week the confidence rating was 47%. All that has changed since then is the Jets lost fairly handily in Baltimore.

Perhaps Jets fans were just overcome by the holiday spirit and were in a generous mood this week.
