Three members of the New England Patriots are set to begin training camp on the sidelines.

Edge defender Harold Landry and tight end C.J. Dippre were both placed on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) on Tuesday, with running back Terrell Jennings moving to the non-football injury/illness list (NFI). Despite those designations, all three remain on the Patriots’ active 90-man roster.

What those labels do show, however, is that the trio is not yet able to participate in practice. Once their statuses change, they can come off the respective lists at any point and immediately join their teammates on...

Per the wire, the Seahawks hosted four players for tryouts, including CB Deantre Prince.

The other three players working out for the Seahawks were WR Malik Heath, DB Brandon Johnson, and DB A’Marion McCoy.

Prince, 25, was a fifth-round pick by the Jaguars in the 2024 draft out of Mississippi. He signed a four-year, $4.4 million rookie deal through 2027 but was let go at the end of camp last year.

In 2024, Prince appeared in 10 games for the Jaguars and recorded eight total tackles and one pass defended.

According to the NFL transaction wire, the Patriots placed OLB Harold Landry and TE CJ Dippre on the active/PUP list to start camp.

Players on the active injury lists still count against the 90-man roster and can come off at any time once they pass a physical. If still on the list by roster cutdowns, they must miss the first four games.

Browning, 24, signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State following the 2024 NFL Draft. He was waived and caught on with the Ravens for camp before being waived again.

It appears that L.A. Rams’ receivers Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield will have some serious competition for Sean McVay’s number three spot, because rookie C.J. Daniels has traits that make him one of the most intriguing players to watch in training camp this year.

Although he was only the 197th pick in the draft, Daniels shares a couple of traits in common with the Rams’ two biggest stars at the position: Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

Vic Tafur of The Athletic did not hold back on the current state of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He thinks the Steelers have turned into an unserious organization.

“It’s not the sexiest storyline, but the Steelers are shooting for their 20th straight non-losing season, but this time without Mike Tomlin,” Tafur wrote. “Aaron Rodgers, 42, decided he wanted to come back, and the Steelers aren’t a serious organization, so they said sure.

The Cardinals are not close to a deal with Jacoby Brissett on the eve of their training camp, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, potentially setting up an extended standoff with fewer than two months until the regular season.

Brissett, 33, signed in Arizona on a two-year, $12.5MM deal last offseason to back up Kyler Murray. Murray’s season-ending foot injury put Brissett on the field for most of the season. Across his 12 starts, the Cardinals won just one game, but he averaged 280.5 passing yards, which would have led all quarterbacks last year.
