Cowboy go full Karate Kid with WR Jaden Smith signing

The Dallas Cowboys are coming for the NFC East title during the 2026 season. Dallas made some aggressive moves this offseason to upgrade the roster on both sides of the ball. Dallas just added a depth piece on offense who shares a name with a Hollywood celebrity.

The Cowboys have signed wide receiver Jaden Smith to a contract, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Dallas wrapped their first mandatory OTA session on June 2nd. They will resume on June 8th, which will give Smith an opportunity to prove himself right away.

Smith, a 24-year-old wide receiver out of Nevada,...

Darnell Washington Makes Major Life Announcement

On the same day that tight end Darnell Washington agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a four-year, $42 million contract extension, it was revealed that Washington and his wife, Estefany, are having a baby boy.

“Blessed with a baby boy,” Estefany Washington wrote in an Instagram post.

Darnell and Estefany have three daughters.

To say the least, June 3, 2026 was a special day for the Washington family.

The four-year deal has $42 million in new money, for an average annual value of $10.5 million per season, and has $21 million in guarantees.

Nick Herbig names all the ‘dogs’ on Steelers after $100 million contract

Nick Herbig signed a four-year extension worth $100 million with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, and he is eager to prove that the front office made the right decision.

Herbig has carved himself a role on the Steelers since being drafted in 2023 in the fourth round. He started as a raw prospect, with TJ Watt taking him under his wing. Last year, the 23-year-old linebacker had a breakout campaign, tallying career-highs of 21 solo tackles and 7.5 sacks.

Aside from Herbig, the Steelers also re-signed Darnell Washington to a four-year deal worth $42 million.

Herbig was happy that Washington,...

SCB Steelers Hot Reads – Kennywood Time!

SCB Steelers Hot Reads – Kennywood Time!

Hey Steelers Fans. Welcome to Thursday.

The Kickoff

In an effort to prove just how valuable these ‘mandatory’ mini-camps are for NFL teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers will use their final day to work on some stuff right? Add in a few more wrinkles to the offensive playbook? Maybe see what T.J. Watt looks like on the other side? Nah… There’s no time for all of that, not when you can go to Kennywood! This is probably where I would have inserted a Kenny Pickett joke in the past but those days are long gone. The team’s trip to the...

Not re-signing Jadeveon Clowney is a mistake by the Cowboys

Not re-signing Jadeveon Clowney is a mistake by the Cowboys

I pushed this to the side for over a month or so, but after the Myles Garrett news and the way the Cowboys’ defense has shaped out over the offseason, it seems like to me that bringing back the team’s leading sack leader from a year ago sounds like a no-brainer, yet Dallas has not done so.

From what it sounds like, the front office won’t be doing it either.

The former first overall pick has not lived up to that, but for what the Cowboys need and what he showed a year ago, it just does not make any...

Insider Reveals Trade Cost For Steelers T.J. Watt

An NFL insider examines what the Pittsburgh Steelers could net from trading away outside linebacker T.J. Watt.

The Pittsburgh Steelers paid outside linebacker Nick Herbig big-time money, signing him to a four-year, $100 million contract extension this week. That has many believing the team could soon move on from one of fellow outside linebackers T.J. Watt or Alex Highsmith.

NFL insider Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk recently revealed what Watt could net the Steelers in a trade.

“I think it starts with a first round pick. The question is, how much more does it go beyond that,” [Florio said...

Beat Writer Explains Why Steelers Are In For ‘Tough Negotiation’ With Joey Porter Jr. Compared To Recent Contract Extensions

While the Steelers hammered out extensions for two other 2023 draft picks, Joey Porter Jr. will be a tougher negotiation. For one thing, he’s an unquestioned starter, capable of logging 1,000-plus snaps if he stays healthy. Both Nick Herbig and Darnell Washington are great at what they do but are part of a group. New Chiefs coach says Xavier Worthy is ‘more impressive’ than expected

More than two decades after entering the NFL coaching ranks as an unpaid intern with the Kansas City Chiefs under former head coach Dick Vermeil in 2003, Chad O’Shea returned to his first pro coaching stop this offseason. The Chiefs named O’Shea the team’s wide receivers coach on January 19.

Since cutting his teeth on Vermeil’s staff, O’Shea has carved out a career as a respected coach of the receiver position — most notably with the New England Patriots, where he was a part of three Super Bowl-winning squads. He was most recently the wide receivers coach and passing game...

Houston Texans schedule: grading the off-season

The school year is coming to an end which means it’s time to start handing out grades.

When Houston Texans head coach Demeco Ryans was a star linebacker for the Texans, a (bad) decision was made to trade him to the Philadelphia Eagles. He went on to lead the Eagles in tackles the next 2 seasons, before ultimately exiting due to a torn achilles.

Now, as you well know, Demeco is back in H-Town, but this time as the (potentially) greatest coach in Texans history. On Christmas Eve, he’ll lead his current team against his former franchise when they travel...

L.A. Rams News: Cooper Kupp has opinions on Aaron Donald returning

The possible return of Aaron Donald to the Los Angeles Rams is almost as big as the trade L.A. made to acquire Myles Garrett, but if you ask Cooper Kupp, he’d rather just see AD stay retired. He probably figures the Seattle Seahawks will be busy enough with Garrett and L.A.‘s roster as is. Adding Donald would be a whole other animal, in theory.

It’s pretty amazing that Kupp isn’t even on the Rams anymore, but he’s so synonymous with them that he apparently has to answer questions about the potential unretirement of AD. Glory to Kupp, a forever member...
