Patriots starting receiver reportedly ‘interested in a trade’

Patriots starting receiver reportedly ‘interested in a trade’

The New England Patriots enjoyed some strong attendance since the start of their voluntary offseason workout program in late April, but Kayshon Boutte has been suspiciously absent so far. His decision to stay away comes in light of constant trade rumors surrounding the fourth-year wide receiver.

He apparently welcomes those as well. In fact, as was recently pointed out by ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Boutte has shown interest in leaving New England.

“One wide receiver I’m still suspecting that something might happen with is Kayshon Boutte,” Schefter said on his podcast. “He has not been there for the offseason program....

What to make of the Jalen Reagor signing – The Splash Zone 6/4/26

What to make of the Jalen Reagor signing – The Splash Zone 6/4/26

The Miami Dolphins added Jalen Reagor to their wide receiver ranks earlier this week and he brings a veteran presence to the room. The Dolphins wide receiver room is one of their weakest units and the Reagor signing doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the guys in the room already. But Reagor isn’t necessarily a slam dunk to make the roster. The Dolphins invested into three rookies this past draft and will want to give them every opportunity to succeed. But nonetheless, Reagor will get a chance to compete alongside Malik Washington, Tutu Atwell, and Jalen Tolbert.

Bears’ Caleb Williams surprises Travis Kelce with talk of new scary weapon

Bears’ Caleb Williams surprises Travis Kelce with talk of new scary weapon

The air is charged with optimism for the Chicago Bears following their promising campaign last season. With quarterback Caleb Williams leading the way, the Bears ruled the NFC North and snapped their four-year drought in the playoffs.

Chicago was among the top offensive teams, averaging 25.9 points and 369.2 yards.

Williams shone in his second year under center, creatively utilizing running backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, wide receivers DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, and tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet, and it seems he has another dependable target in his back pocket.

The 24-year-old Williams guested on “New...

Browns’ Alex Wright has must-hear Myles Garrett trade story

It is a new era for the Cleveland Browns—yet again—after they traded defensive end Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for linebacker Jared Verse and three future draft picks.

It came as a surprise to many, since Garrett was the face of the Browns. But general manager Andrew Berry said they felt it was time to move on from the two-time Defensive Player of the Year, who had already demanded a trade in 2025.

In a media conference on Tuesday, Berry explained that the offer of the Rams seemed “really beneficial” to Cleveland, convincing him to pull...

Seahawks DB Nick Emmanwori gets ‘1-of-1’ praise from veteran teammate

The Seattle Seahawks are coming off of a magical season that saw them win Super Bowl LX over the New England Patriots in dominant fashion, but they have already turned the page to their repeat bid in 2026.

While last year’s Seahawks team was elite on both sides of the ball and had a lot of key veterans, the young talent on this roster has Mike Macdonald and company set up very well for the future. Chief among those young players is star nickel Nick Emmanwori, who immediately emerged as one of the best defensive backs in all of football...

49ers’ Trent Williams’ raw reaction to Rams Myles Garrett trade: ‘It sucks’

The NFL world was stunned earlier this week when the Los Angeles Rams acquired Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns for edge rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick.

This adds a layer of intrigue to the Rams’ rivalry against the San Francisco 49ers and their impending pair of matchups in the 2026 NFL season. And for 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams, he had a direct response to the news that he would have to face Garrett twice a season now.

“Same as everybody, everybody that’s not in Rams country. It...

Steelers’ Nick Herbig gives props to brother Nate after $100 million extension

On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers and linebacker Nick Herbig came to terms on a four-year, $100 million extension that includes $42 million guaranteed, keeping him with the Steelers for the foreseeable future.

During a press conference on Wednesday, shortly after the contract was announced, Herbig became emotional when talking about his brother Nate Herbig, a former NFL guard who spent part of his career with the Steelers, and the impact that he’s had on his life.

“I haven’t even really seen him in person yet, but from the time we talked, there weren’t a lot of words,” Herbig said via...

49ers’ potential 2026 breakout star after strong OTAs showing

The 2026 season has not even begun and the San Francisco 49ers just took a major gut punch. They play in the demanding NFC West with the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and the dynamic Los Angeles Rams.

It’s always a major challenge when 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has to compete with Rams head coach Sean McVay, but that assignment just got tougher as the Rams made a huge trade with the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett. That gives the Rams the best defensive player in the NFL. The Rams are serious about a Super Bowl run.

Bears’ Rome Odunze opens up on concerning reality after foot injury

With the No. 9 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after selecting quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick, the Chicago Bears took Washington Huskies wide receiver Rome Odunze, and he went on to haul in 54 receptions for 734 receiving yards and three touchdowns in his rookie campaign.

But his effectiveness was limited in his sophomore season because of a foot injury, which he recently explained was his new normal because of the sheer physics of how the injury affected his foot.

“This is my new normal,” Odunze said via Dan Wiederer on X, formerly known as Twitter....

49ers LT Trent Williams ‘Probably’ On Final Contract

49ers left tackle Trent Williams signed a new two-year, $50MM contract this offseason, one that he said will “probably” be his last, per ESPN’s Nick Wagoner.

Williams, who will turn 38 years old in July, is entering his 16th season in the NFL with 12 Pro Bowls and five All-Pro selections (three first-team, two second-team) to his name. Retirement has been a topic of discussion for a few years, but his latest deal with San Francisco seems designed for him to hang up his cleats after the 2027 season.

That decision may still be dependent on his performance level as...

Mac Jones breaks silence on staying with 49ers as backup

The San Francisco 49ers plan on wrapping up their OTAs on Thursday after cancelling next week’s mandatory minicamp, but backup quarterback Mac Jones has not thrown last week or this week owing to shoulder soreness.

Jones, who went 5-3 as a starter last season for the 49ers in place of the injured Brock Purdy, is once again behind Purdy on the club’s depth chart. And while he would prefer the job of a starter, Jones said that he isn’t upset about his current situation and believes that he’s part of a good organization that he’s not looking to depart from....
