Football is the ultimate team sport, and nowhere is that more evident than on defense. One player out of position can create a vulnerability that good offensive coordinators will exploit. The Pittsburgh Steelers learned that lesson the hard way last season, as those weak points repeatedly undermined an otherwise talented defense. New defensive coordinator Patrick […]

In this series, we will look at established players — virtual locks to make this year’s Kansas City Chiefs squad — with the most riding on the 2026 season.
On April 27, 2023, with the NFL Draft being held at Kansas City’s Union Station, the Chiefs announced a selection that had the look of a generational feel-good story.
Coming off of a victory months earlier in Super Bowl LVII, team chairman Clark Hunt took the stage to announce the final selection in the first round. Kansas State edge rusher Felix Anudike-Uzomah — a Lee’s Summit, Missouri, native who was actually...

Chip Kelly spoke on Tuesday as the Northwestern Wildcats held a media tour of their new football stadium:
All business. A hard hat, lunch pail type of guy. He looks like one of the blue collar union laborers who rebuilt I-95 in just three days:
“Buckley and Company! Three days!” (via @yomemo03 on TikTok)
Chip recently took his talents to Evanston, Illinois, and is ready to coordinate a Big 10 offense under head coach David Braun. We pointed out in December that Chip typically alternates between wildly successful jobs and total failure jobs. His recent resume looks like this:

Ashton Jeanty has an up-and-down rookie season as a rusher for various reasons after the Las Vegas Raiders made the running back the No 6 overall pick in the 2025 draft.
However, the Boise State product did make a major impact as a receiver out of the backfield. A recent X post by NFL Researcher showed Jeanty was one of the most productive receiving running backs in the entire NFL last season.
Jeanty had 55 catches (on 73 targets) and five touchdowns. His 55 catches was the sevetnh most by a running back in the league. Jeanty should be able...

You can almost smell it. Football is right around the corner as the Dallas Cowboys will be heading to Oxnard, California next week to kickoff 2026 training camp.
While we have spent a lot of time talking about the Cowboys defense this offseason, the offense is the Cowboys calling card. This is where they shine, and one reason for that last year was the play of running back Javonte Williams. Williams had 252 carries for 1,201 rushing yards in 2025, a career best. His previous high, 203 carries for 903 rushing yards, came in his rookie season.
Williams is back...

The Seattle Seahawks nearly lost fan favorite wide receiver, Jake Bobo, to the Jacksonville Jaguars this past offseason. That was after Bobo, whom at the time was a restricted free agent, signed a two-year, $5.5 million offer sheet. Although many in the media expected the Seahawks not to match, Seattle ended up doing so, leading to Bobo returning to the Pacific Northwest.
However, a new report by the Boston Herald states that the Jaguars were not the only team interested in Bobo’s services. In an interview with Greg Dudek, Bobo revealed the New England Patriots were eying Bobo, as well....

The New York Giants 2026 training camp is almost here.
The Giants are set at several positions, like quarterback and linebacker. However, the arrival of John Harbaugh means that the Giants done work in tinkering with their roster to make it more competitive. There are also a number of players getting clean slates and opportunities to compete for starting jobs.
In other words, this year might have more and more lively camp battles than we’ve seen in recent years from the Giants.
So with that in mind, we want to know which camp battles you’re most interested in seeing this...

It’s a rare sight to see an NFL linebacker play for two divisional rivals in his career. But that is exactly the case with Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Malik Harrison, who is set to enter his second year in the Steel City.
Harrison played the first five seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens, who drafted him in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He made 76 appearances for the Flock, missing just eight total games.
Harrison did not break any new ground by signing with Pittsburgh in free agency; Patrick Queen started the trend in the 2024...
There’s been a lot of hype around Pittsburgh Steelers C Zach Frazier this offseason. Through two seasons, he’s been one of the best centers in the league. By the end of the year, NFL Media’s Kevin Patra believes Frazier could be the best. In an article picking each AFC team’s non-QB MVP, Patra went with […]
