There appears to be no end in sight to the standoff between Trey Hendrickson and the Bengals. While the 2025 version of the organization would benefit from an immediate resolution, it doesn’t sound like that will end up coming to fruition. While Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic says that the “best play” for the Bengals’ chemistry would be to wrap up this saga ASAP, the writer doesn’t anticipate a new deal being signed before training camp.

Former NFL star running back Adrian Peterson is returning to the world of sports, but he’ll be using his fists this time.
According to a report from TMZ Sports, Adrian Peterson has signed a Celebrity Boxing contract to fight Joe “Baby Joe” Castaneda. The latter, a professional poker player, has also signed the contract.
For those unaware, a video surfaced last month of Peterson and Castaneda getting into a full-on fistfight after a disagreement in a poker game. The incident happened at a club called JokerStars in Houston, Texas, on May 27.

Los Angeles Chargers star running back Najee Harris suffered a “superficial” eye injury in a horrific Fourth of July fireworks accident, his agent announced.
Doug Hendrickson, Harris’ agent, issued a statement explaining the injury scare. Fortunately, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star isn’t expected to miss any time, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
