Thank goodness quarterback drama didn’t dominate the headlines of the San Francisco 49ers this offseason for a change. It certainly tried, but the wide receivers stepped in instead. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any storylines on quarterbacks.

There’s Brock Purdy, and “is he or is he not” very good. Yeah. Something says we’re still trying to figure that part out.

The San Francisco 49ers had their first rookie minicamp practice on Friday and that means we got to see our first glimpse of the future. Earlier Friday they got eight undrafted free agents signed and later the rookies took the field. And Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers first round pick, was on display. A first round pick the 49ers haven’t had since 2021 when they traded up to draft Trey Lance.
