The New Orleans Saints will head to Raymond James Stadium to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season. To break it down, Evan Wanish of Bucs Nation joins us to preview Sunday afternoon’s matchup.
NJ: Prior to their recent victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the Bucs had lost three straight—what has been Tampa Bay’s biggest weakness over that stretch?
EW: The biggest weakness over this tough stretch for the Bucs has probably been the explosive plays allowed on defense. In their losses to New England, Buffalo and Los Angeles the defense allowed way too...

After the New Orleans Saints’ game in Week 13, the draft position had some movement due to their loss to the Miami Dolphins. Still, in the end, the Saints went right back to pick #3 overall after the New York Giants’ loss.
In this edition, I will look at some potential trade back options from that third overall selection, and the potential prospects available.
For the first trade back, I have the Saints trading back with the Jets for the #7 overall selection. With this pick, New Orleans could go with OT/G Francis Mauigoa.
Starting with what Mauigoa brings on...

The New Orleans Saints are coming off back-to-back losses and have officially been eliminated from the playoffs. While playoffs were a long shot when the season started, getting eliminated a month before they start can always be a morale killer. With just five weeks left in the season, the Saints will look to rack up as much momentum as possible before heading into the offseason, and the best place to start is against a division rival. But if the black and gold want any chance of winning, they have to win these key matchups.

Check it out!
Bray Hubbard
Alabama’s defensive back has been a menace all over the football field this year. He’s gotten eight pass deflections, four interceptions, and forced three fumbles thus far. He and the Crimson Tide will have a chance to solidify their spot in the college...

Let’s start the breakdown for the New Orleans Saints’ Sunday matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
Against the Dolphins, Banks had another strong game, but had some mistakes here and there. Penalties became an issue throughout the game. Still, he looked great, which is the norm for every game. Now this week, facing the Buccaneers, it should be more of the same for the rookie.
Speaking of strong performances, Shough really showed off his talent. Yes, the first half was tough, but the entire offense was a step too slow. In...

Finally, the Buccaneers are back on track after their win against the Arizona Cardinals, but it was not an easy victory. For most of the game, Tampa Bay led, and in the fourth quarter, Arizona fought back and nearly completed the comeback. This did not happen, but the Buccaneers had many opportunities to seal this game and did not, which seems like the theme of this season. The defense really stepped up throughout this game, and if it wasn’t for that side of the ball, Tampa Bay may have lost this game. Next on the schedule...

After discussing the New Orleans Saints’ offensive matchup for the upcoming week, let’s turn our attention to the defensive side of the ball. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a familiar divisional opponent for New Orleans, but that does not change the fact that the Saints were walloped at home in Week 8. How can Brandon Staley’s group turn the tables in this road game?
Tampa Bay currently has the 21st-ranked offense in the league with an average of 316.2 yards while scoring just over 23 points per game. Meanwhile, New Orleans allows 314.6 yards and 24.6 points, good enough for...
