2025 NFL Week 15: Hart’s Picks

2025 NFL Week 15: Hart’s Picks

Week 15 of the NFL regular season is upon us. My Week 14 picks were thrown off a bit due to several upsets. I picked 9 of 14 games correctly. Through fourteen weeks I’m now sitting at 139-69 with predictions. That’s 67-percent accuracy, but several points lower than how I performed last season. Let’s see how well I can do with my Week 15 picks.

Thursday Night Football — Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Winner: Buccaneers

Tampa Bay losing to the New Orleans Saints last weekend was one of the upsets I didn’t see coming. Now, they are tied...

Horse Tracks: Broncos gearing up for gridiron showdown against Packers

Good morning, Broncos Country. It’s been quite the journey for our Denver Broncos this season. Embarking on a thrilling ten-game winning streak, the Broncos are now the presumptive top seed in the AFC and the leaders of the AFC West. Without question, they have proven to be one of the NFL’s best teams in 2025.

With just four games remaining, the Broncos control their own destiny. Their final slate opponents are formidable, but the orange and blue have demonstrated a tremendous amount of grit and tenacity as well. This weekend, they host the Green Bay Packers in one of the...

Broncos vs. Packers: Wednesday practice participation report

Broncos vs. Packers: Wednesday practice participation report

The Denver Broncos are getting healthier at just the right moment as both defensive lineman D.J. Jones and tight end Nate Adkins returned to practice on Wednesday. Adkins had been out for quite a while, so that is a significant development.

Speaking of significant developments, offensive guard Ben Powers has been designated to return from injured reserve after a long two month absence recovering from a biceps injury. This opens up his 21-day practice window. Mike Klis of 9News did note that he is unlikely to be available against the Green Bay Packers, but we could see him back in...

Marvin Mims Jr. named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Denver Broncos All-Pro returner Marvin Mims Jr. has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his stellar performance against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14.

This is the third time in his career that Mims has won this award and is the most by a return specialist in Broncos’ history. The highlight of the game came on a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown that shows Mims stopped and looking like he would be tackled, only to burst through the pile to an explosive game-changing touchdown in the second quarter.

Mims is again on his way...

Broncos Film Review: Luke Wattenberg vs the Raiders

Broncos Film Review: Luke Wattenberg vs the Raiders

I know what some of you may be thinking. Another hit piece on Luke Wattenberg? And if you’re thinking that then you’d be incorrect, because Luke Wattenberg was a star on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

I’m not going to bury the lead or keep you in anticipation for when you get to the score, Wattenberg might have had the best game of his career and he easily put up his best score in RGS history, and he has one of the highest scores I’ve ever handed out. I was impressed while watching live, and the film looked that...

Broncos vs Packers preview: Denver hunts for statement win

Broncos vs Packers preview: Denver hunts for statement win

Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos have an opportunity to send a clear message.

Get a win on Sunday against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers, and the Broncos will state emphatically that, yes, we are indeed for real. Denver is, in fact, a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

As it stands now, the current No. 1 seed in the AFC at 11-2 and on a 10-game winning streak is a home +2.5-point underdog to the 9-3-1 Packers at FanDuel Sportsbook. The total sits at over/under 42.5 points, with a lean towards the over at -115.

A victory this weekend...

Snaps and analysis for the Broncos win over the Raiders

Snaps and analysis for the Broncos win over the Raiders

The inactives against the Las Vegas Raiders were Reese Taylor, Nate Adkins, Que Robinson, Geron Christian, DJ Jones, and Jordan Jackson. With Jonah Elliss healthy Que was inactive and we were back to 4 active OLBs.

The Denver Broncos OL and Bo Nix played all 74 of the offensive snaps. Frank Crum played 8 snaps as the sixth offensive lineman.

Adam Trautman played 55 snaps at TE and Marcedes Lewis played 28, one more than Evan Engram. It’s obvious that the gameplan was to run the ball down the throats of the Raider defense. Since Lewis is essentially an offensive...

Broncos can clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Packers

We have our first Denver Broncos playoff berth clinching scenario of the season, and it is pretty straightforward. All the Broncos have to do is defeat the Packers this Sunday, and they will officially clinch a postseason berth for the second straight season.

The Denver Broncos sit at 11-2 on the year, have won 10 straight games, and are currently the number one seed in the AFC and simply need to win to be the first team in the AFC to clinch a postseason berth.

In total, there are six ways the Broncos can clinch a postseason berth this Sunday,...

Denver Broncos power rankings around the web for Week 15

The Denver Broncos took care of business last week against the Las Vegas Raiders. While the final score looked closer than it actually was, the Broncos were never in danger of losing that game. At 11-2, they stand atop the AFC — for now — and face their toughest stretch of the season with three of their final four games against teams with nine wins and the one that doesn’t is Patrick Mahomes and the always-dangerous Kansas City Chiefs.

Are they finally getting the respect their record demands from analysts around the league? Or are they still being doubted at...

Broncos at Raiders: The No Bull Review

Broncos at Raiders: The No Bull Review

What a breath of fresh air, this game was to watch as a fan of the Denver Broncos. All three phases of the game played well. As the game wore on, it seemed more and more like we were just passing time until the clock was all zeros. The cherry on top was that we swept the Raiders (may they continue swirling down the toilet of the NFL’s most hapless franchises).

The Broncos have some very meaningful games coming up, and it was good to see them handle business as one would expect, without needing a come-from-behind drive to get...

Horse Tracks: Could we see more of Marvin Mims?

Horse Tracks: Could we see more of Marvin Mims?

Marvin Mims Jr. holds a special place with Sean Payton.

The former Oklahoma wide receiver was actually Payton’s first draft pick as the Broncos head coach. Having lost a first-round pick due to the previous trade for Russell Wilson, Payton and his GM were looking at the second round and the 68th overall pick as their first player.

But a speedy wideout with a penchant for catching the deep ball caught Payton’s eye, and the Broncos traded their 68th and 138th overall picks to the Lions to move up five spots and get Mims.

At the time, some saw the...
