Quite possibly the hardest game the Denver Broncos will have all season long takes place this Sunday in Philadelphia as they take on one of the two remaining undefeated teams.
There is good news though. Denver is coming off of a total domination of a victory against the Bengals (a lesser opponent, but confidence is confidence) and they get to carry that momentum into this week. And the Philadelphia Eagles are more vulnerable now than they have been all year.
Here’s how the Broncos can pull of a huge win on the road and secure one of the biggest upsets...
If you are seeing RED in your region in the map above, you will get the Broncos-Eagles game on your local CBS affiliate in Week 5. It’ll be the dominant game in the early slot with both teams being playoff teams last year and one, obviously, being the defending champion.
This is a game that Denver could sneak away with. It won’t be easy. They need to keep the Eagles limited on the scoreboard and the Broncos’ offense needs to play like it did last week and not like it did in previous weeks. Anything is possible.
Kickoff is set...
The fifth week of the NFL regular season has arrived. My Week 4 picks didn’t go as well as I had hoped, matching my Week 3 performance with another 10-6 record. Through four weeks I’m sitting at 45-19 with predictions. That puts me right at 70-percent for the season. This week, there will be two less games with bye weeks kicking in for the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Thursday Night Football — San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams
Winner: Rams
It’s another NFC West matchup this week for Thursday Night Football. Both these...
Good morning, Broncos Country. The Denver Broncos were able to deliver a decisive victory against the Cincinatti Bengals on Monday Night Football. It was a dominant effort with the offense and defense performing better than they have all season long. By ending September on a high note, the Broncos are now 2-2 as October begins—a month where Head Coach Sean Payton’s teams have historically performed well.
Next up for the Broncos? A road trip to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. Make no mistake, this will be the team’s toughest game thus far. The Eagles...
The Denver Broncos hit the road in Week 5 to take on the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. Denver suffered two walk-off defeats, but otherwise handled their other two games. They were close to being 4-0 as well, but they just didn’t have the leverage to make it happen.
Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. Mile High time on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on CBS. The game will be called by Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (analyst), and Tracy Wolfson (sideline). You can...
The Denver Broncos have their biggest non-conference game of the season as they travel east to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. It’s also looking like they will be mostly healthy for that game, although they are still awaiting the return of Dre Greenlaw from short-term injured reserve.
Both Nik Bonitto and Alex Singleton were full participants today, while Jonah Elliss and Marvin Mims Jr. were both limited. The only non-participant was tight end Nate Adkins who is in the concussion protocol. On the Eagles side of things, they had four guys limited and tight end Dallas...
Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles is currently the league’s best pass-blocking offensive tackle (and Mike McGlinchey is also high up there with him as well), and after last season, we shouldn’t be surprised. Bolles is the NFL’s equivalent to a fine wine. He’s aged perfectly.
His game against the Cincinnati Bengals may have been his best work of the season. Trey Hendrickson couldn’t do a dang thing for essentially the entire night.
Now we get to break down some of the greatness we’re seeing out of Denver’s longest active tenured player.
Garett Bolles played 74 offensive...
We finally got to see this Denver Broncos team win a game in a sound manner throughout all four quarters of the game. The defense was astounding. The offense was potent.
I enjoyed the win to be sure, but at the end of the day, I’m not so sure this win didn’t say more about how bad the Cincinnati Bengals are without Joe Burrow than it did about how good the Denver Broncos are.
Don’t get me wrong here. Wins are wins in the NFL, and the Broncos deserve credit for their efforts. They played pretty damn good football. It...
For the first time this year, all five OL starters did not play all the offensive snaps, but this is a good thing. Garett Bolles came off the field for one snap because of a ding, and then he and Quinn Meinerz and Mike McGlinchey got a three snap break for the final kneel-down drive. Ben Powers, Luke Wattenberg and Bo Nix all played every offensive snap. Alex Palczewski played 13 snaps as the 6th OL and then he got three snaps at RT. Matt Peart played four snaps at LT and Alex Forsyth played three snaps at G in...
There are times when a team can prove it’s for real.
This is one of those moments for the Denver Broncos. On the road against the defending Super Bowl champions, who are also undefeated. You could make the case that the Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in the NFL, and it’s not really close.
After a dominating win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Broncos could set up the rest of their season with a win this Sunday in Philly. For that to happen, Denver will do so as +4.5-point underdogs to the Eagles. The total sits at an over/under...
The Denver Broncos got themselves back to .500 on Monday night, ending a two game skid where they lost in walk-off fashion in both. While the Cincinnati Bengals are reeling without Joe Burrow and being exposed badly since he went down, the Broncos winning this game was by no means assured heading in. Denver had its own demons to slay.
And slay they did. After giving up a field goal on the opening drive, the defense completely shut down and shut out the Bengals for the rest of the game. Meanwhile, the Broncos ran up the yardage and the scoreboard...
