The Miami Dolphins were able to upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday thanks to contributions from their rookies and younger players. QB Quinn Ewers had a solid day throwing for two touchdowns with one of them going to fellow rookie, WR Theo Wease Jr. On defense, CB Jason Marshall Jr. recorder his first interception and DL Zeke Biggers blocked a field goal. The win didn’t mean anything, but see the rookies be key contributors was a great feeling.

The New England Patriots made a couple of moves on their practice squad on Tuesday, and one of them was re-signing Marshall Lang.
Lang was originally an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern and signed with the Seattle Seahawks in May. The Seahawks released him on Aug. 26. Lang signed with the Patriots’ practice squad on Oct. 14, but was released just two days later.
Lang landed back with the Seahawks practice squad on Nov. 6 and was released again on Nov. 18. He will once again be with the Patriots. The Seahawks have released him twice this season, but...

The New England Patriots have their eyes set on the playoffs and continue to make transactions on their 53-man roster and practice squad.
The Patriots’ 53-man roster could be getting some big news soon, with the returns of Will Campbell and Milton Williams looming. However, on Tuesday, they announced they are releasing a player from their practice squad.
The Patriots released 25-year-old running back Jashaun Corbin from the practice squad. He was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad on Oct. 7 and was placed on the practice squad injured reserve later that month. Corbin originally signed with the New York...

The Green Bay Packers (9-6-1) are going to the playoffs — with absolutely no momentum. They have lost their last 3 games and they are locked into the No. 7 spot in the NFC playoffs.
As sluggish as things are for the Packers, the Vikings (8-8) are finishing their season on a high note. They have won 4 games in a row and their victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 17 lifted them out of the NFC North cellar.
That’s cold comfort for a team that finished the 2024 season with a 14-3 record and had a chance to...

The regular season in the NFL is winding down, with just one week to go until the playoffs get underway. There are still two playoff spots up for grabs, with both the NFC South and the AFC North playing de facto championship games in Week 18.
Those games were set up by some truly disastrous performances in Week 17 (and one good one), but there was plenty else to talk about coming out of the final Sunday of 2025. Drake Maye retook the lead in the MVP race, Tyler Shough and Cam Ward put on a rookie firework show, and...

The Seattle Seahawks may have injury question marks at left tackle beyond just Charles Cross.
Seattle held a Tuesday walkthrough instead of a normal practice for their Saturday night tilt with the San Francisco 49ers. With the NFC West title and No. 1 seed at stake, there could be a possible issue along the offensive line for the Seahawks. Charles Cross was estimated as a non-participant, which is not surprising given his hamstring injury was expected to cost him the remainder of the regular season. What is new is backup tackle Josh Jones showing as a DNP with ankle and...

Week 18 is the most unforgiving week on the fantasy football calendar. If you’re still playing, that is. Talent alone no longer guarantees production. Motivation, playoff incentives, snap management, and late injury news all shape the final outcomes. For wide receivers in particular, the difference often comes down to which teams still have something to play for. This week is about identifying receivers tied to meaningful games, stable quarterback play, and offensive game plans that won’t suddenly evaporate after the first quarter.
With that in mind, here’s how the wide receiver landscape stacks up heading into the [final week of...

Week 18 is where fantasy football strategy becomes brutally practical. Motivation, snap counts, playoff positioning, and injury management now matter just as much as talent. For managers still playing meaningful games, running back is the position most vulnerable to late scratches, surprise rest days, and workload pivots. It’s also the position that can still swing a matchup decisively. As the regular season closes, identifying which backs will actually be fed, and which could quietly disappear, is the key to finishing strong.
Here’s how the running back landscape shapes up entering Week 18 of the 2025 NFL season.
