Jaylon Jones (5-11, 190, 27, 5, CFA from Mississippi) runs a 4.4 40 and an eye-catching 6.70 3-cone.
The biggest hurdle for Jaylon Jones at Ole Miss and in the NFL has been staying healthy. This past year, after 9 games with the Bears, he suffered a shoulder injury in Arizona versus the Cardinals, was sent to the IR and had shoulder surgery in early January.
Physically, Jones is made to order —- he has good size, speed, cover and tackling skills.
In 2023 on special teams he recorded 7 tackles, earning him a commendable 74.9 grade. He was also a very good return specialist at Ole Miss. In 2017, his 775 kickoff return yards was 3rd best in the SEC and 18th best nationally. He had two house calls of 97-yards (2017) and 94-yards (2018).
