Who’s in and who’s out as Buffalo looks to take the next step towards a Super Bowl berth

The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens are set to do battle for the second time this season. In the first meeting, the Ravens hosted the Bills, and they treated their guests rudely. Baltimore won 35-10 in a game where they had more rushing yards (271) than Buffalo did total net yards (236).

The Bills are much healthier than they were during that meeting, as a trio of starters who missed that game—Matt Milano, Terrel Bernard, and Taron Johnson—are all ready to go today. Safety Taylor Rapp missed most of that game thanks to a concussion, as well, and he’s healthy for tonight’s contest.

The inactive list became official just moments ago. Here are the inactive players for both team’s in tonight’s playoff matchup.

QB Mike White

White is inactive, but he’s the emergency third quarterback for the game. He’s inactive unless both Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky are injured.

WR Jalen Virgil

The practice squad call-up is a healthy scratch once again, as the team has its full cadre of wideouts at its disposal.

OL Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

With sixth lineman Alec Anderson nursing a calf injury, perhaps the Bills want a veteran option in Will Clapp rather than the rookie Van Pran-Granger in the event of an injury. Anderson is active, but this could be a hedge against his availability for the whole night.

T Ryan Van Demark

With rookie Tylan Grable back and ready, Van Demark returns to the role he had earlier as the healthy scratch along the offensive line.

DT DeWayne Carter

The Bills will once again go with five defensive tackles and five defensive ends. I thought there was a chance that rookie Javon Solomon would swap with his fellow rookie, Carter, on the inactive list, but I was wrong.

CB Brandon Codrington

Buffalo’s main return specialist is out for the second straight week after practicing for most of this week. He injured his hamstring against the New England Patriots. Ty Johnson and Ray Davis, who suffered a concussion last week but is active today, will likely handle kickoff returns, with Khalil Shakir the likely man to return punts.

CB Kaiir Elam

Buffalo’s 2022 first-round pick is a healthy scratch once again. The Bills will roll with Ja’Marcus Ingram as their top reserve corner on the outside.

Here are the inactive players for Baltimore. Pro Bowl wideout Zay Flowers is inactive.
