Ready To Step Up’: Michael Pittman Jr. Likes What He Sees From Steelers’ Young QBs

With Aaron Rodgers back for 2025, the chances of Will Howard or Drew Allar seeing the field have gone down. Seeing both in action on Monday, Michael Pittman Jr. likes what he sees from each of Pittsburgh’s […]

Aaron Rodgers on Verge of Reaching Historic Career Milestone

Aaron Rodgers on Verge of Reaching Historic Career Milestone

With Aaron Rodgers returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers, he is likely to leap over Peyton Manning on the NFL all-time touchdown passing list this season. Rodgers, who has thrown 527 touchdown passes, needs just 13 TD passes to move ahead of Manning for third all-time.

Rodgers would likely need to play two more seasons to surpass Drew Brees (571) for second place, while Tom Brady’s all-time record of 649 career touchdown seems to be out of reach.

Rodgers finished 15th in the NFL in passing yards (3,322) last season, along with posting an impressive 24-to-7 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He played in...

Steelers sign two more rookies

Steelers sign two more rookies

The Steelers have signed rookies Germie Bernard and Eli Heidenreich to their first NFL contracts, the team announced Monday.

Pittsburgh traded up to select Bernard, an Alabama wide receiver, in the second round in 2026. Heidenreich, who was added to the Steelers’ roster as a running back/wide receiver, was a versatile slotback in the Navy offense.

Bernard has already been drawing good reviews from Steelers players in the team’s first day of OTAs Monday.

Contract details have not yet been released for either player, but the question will be how much of Bernard’s contract — or all of it —...

Broderick Jones at OTAs, But Steelers Future Remains Uncertain

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Broderick Jones was in uniform for the first practice of OTAs for the 2026 season, just months after undergoing surgery to repair the neck injury that prematurely ended his 2025 season.

While Jones was in formation with the rest of the Steelers during warmups at the start of practice, he did not participate in the team portion of practice that was open to the media.

Jones has not spoken to the media since he first suffered the injury, against the Chicago Bears last fall.

The Steelers haven’t given any kind of a timeframe for Jones’...

‘They Need Mason Rudolph’: Florio Predicts Will Howard To Be ‘Odd Man Out’ In Steelers’ QB Room

Aaron Rodgers has finally re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, solidifying who will be starting under center this season. However, there’s still the question of who will back him up. They have four signal callers currently on the roster, and it feels unlikely that all of them will be with the team for Week 1. Mason […]

Sights and sounds from the Steelers’ first OTA

Sights and sounds from the Steelers’ first OTA

Steelers OTAs, or organized team activities, kicked off on Monday in Pittsburgh. And despite the practice’s voluntary nature, the team saw good attendance on Day 1 — even newly re-signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers was present.

The team still has nine OTAs and a mandatory minicamp before training camp starts later in the summer. The depth charts and roster are still far from complete, and with contact disallowed, plays and drills are a shell of what they’ll be later in the year.

Still, Monday’s OTA marked one of the first looks at what the 2026 Steelers are shaping up to be....

Pittsburgh’s Offensive Line Has A New Veteran Leader. It’s Not A Player.

Isaac Seumalo was the elder statesman of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line, the veteran among a group of rookies and second-year players. With Seumalo leaving in free agency for the Arizona Cardinals, there’s a leadership void. It’s being filled not by a Steelers player, but by one of the team’s new coaches – assistant line […]
