Depending on whom you ask, the Pittsburgh Steeles have had a strong offseason under GM Omar Khan. It has certainly been a very busy one. The Steelers replaced longtime head coach Mike Tomlin with the surprise hiring of Mike McCarthy. Despite that decision drawing some ire initially, the move has been widely praised since. The […]

Former Pittsburgh Steelers center/guard Kendrick Green revealed on Breiden Fehoko’s podcast that Mike Tomlin sent him a blunt message after he was traded in 2023.
“He told me when [the Steelers] traded me, ‘We probably didn’t put you in the best position to develop,'” Green told Fehoko. “He said, ‘So what, this is your career, not mine. You gotta figure this sh*t out. Go live that life.'”
To say the least, Green’s tenure with the Steelers was brutal. Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger often talks about how the Steelers messed up with throwing Green into the fire as a starter...

PITTSBURGH — During Wednesday’s OTA practice indoors at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, Pittsburgh Steelers receivers DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. took the field together for the second time, standing in as something the team hasn’t had in a while — a viable wideout tandem.
Meanwhile, quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar got work in behind Aaron Rodgers, with Howard once again taking second-team snaps in front of first-year head coach Mike McCarthy.

Following Aaron Rodgers’ signing on Monday morning ahead of voluntary Organized Team Activities, the Pittsburgh Steelers have four quarterbacks on their roster under first-year head coach Mike McCarthy. While the Steelers have said they’re comfortable having four quarterbacks and could carry four on their 53-man roster into the season, many outside of the facility seem […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently have four quarterbacks on their roster, which will almost certainly change ahead of Week 1 of the 2026 season. It’s incredibly rare for a team to carry four quarterbacks, which means Pittsburgh will have a decision to make – and one NFL insider believes it will be a decision that shocks a lot of fans.
While Mike McCarthy has raved about Will Howard since being hired in January, Mike Florio of NBC Sports believes Howard will be the one on the outside looking in.
“I think Will Howard’s going to be the odd man out, unless...
Behind the Steel Curtain
When talking about Pittsburgh Steelers rookies, it’s typically the higher first-round picks who generate the most buzz. But surprisingly, 21st overall pick Max Iheanachor isn’t the rookie jersey flying off the shelves in Pittsburgh. That honor belongs to 76th overall pick and quarterback Drew Allar.
The former Penn State Nittany Lions signal caller has become one of the highest-selling rookie jerseys in the NFL, even outselling some first-round picks, including Las Vegas Raiders No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza according to FOX Sports. That’s an impressive feat for a third-round quarterback who hasn’t even taken an NFL snap yet.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Malik Harrison has switched his jersey number from No. 50 to No. 39, according to the team’s roster at OTAs. Harrison wore No. 39 when he played at Ohio State.
The Steelers signed Harrison to a two-year, $10 million contract last offseason, poaching yet another linebacker from the Baltimore Ravens. The 27-year-old was a third-round pick of the Ravens out of Ohio State in 2020 and had spent all five of his previous NFL seasons in Baltimore.
On Sept. 10, Harrison was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are traditionally built on culture and character. It’s not a surprise that finding high-character players who can contribute to a positive culture is one of the tenets of the team’s scouting philosophy. Appearing on the Spill With Me Jenny D podcast, Steelers scouting coordinator Casey Weidl elaborated on the team’s focus on […]

Entering his second season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, veteran inside linebacker Malik Harrison aims to take a step forward after a rocky first stint in the Black and Gold. As part of that hopeful step forward, he’s also changing his number. According to the Steelers’ official team roster, Harrison is switching from No. 50 to […]

During his first season quarterbacking the Pittsburgh Steelers, Aaron Rodgers wasn’t one to conceal his frustrations. The oldest player in the NFL when the season started, he looked like an old man yelling at the clouds at times.
With the four-time Associated Press NFL MVP back in the fold for Mike McCarthy’s team, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos signal-caller Chris Simms believes Rodgers’ smarts will be a boon for the offense and its new additions.
“He’s so particular, and then he’s amazing in the huddle, and gonna give you quick little tidbits of things to remind or beware...
Coming off a monster third NFL season, one that saw him finish with 7.5 sacks and 48 pressures in a rotational role, outside linebacker Nick Herbig is poised for a big fourth season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yet despite the high expectations and the opportunity to land a life-changing contract extension this offseason from the […]
