The Cleveland Browns have had a rough season so far, as they are 2-6 despite having one of the best defenses in the league. However, they will look to take advantage of a Jets team that will be reshaping their own defense after trading away arguably their two best players.

The New York Jets were the league’s most active team at the NFL trade deadline. The team now has an extra first round pick from Indianapolis in the 2026 NFL Draft to go with its own selection which will be quite high.

With so much focus on the upcoming Draft, let’s take a look at the players various mock drafts project the Jets will pick.

The 7-2 Denver Broncos have had a great first half of the 2025 season, sitting in first place in the AFC West. Despite quarterback Bo Nix being a slight disappointment in his sophomore season, the Broncos defense has been more than enough to compensate. The Broncos have held opponents to 17 points or less in five of their nine games. They rank 3rd in the NFL in yards allowed, 4th in points allowed and 6th in first downs allowed. In a bit of a surprising move, the Jets are benching starting linebacker Quincy Williams.

I would agree that Quincy has had a disappointing season. Still I have to say I did not see this coming. Williams has a good track record in this league, most notably shown in his First Team All Pro selection in 2023.
