The Patriots are in first place in the AFC East with a sparkling 8-2 record. It’s probably too much to ask the Jets to emerge with a victory on the road, but it would be nice if they could at least be competitive and put up a good fight. Last season, the Jets comfortably beat New England 24-3 in their home opener. However, both teams were looking to avoid a five-game losing streak when they met again a month later. The Jets knocked Drake Maye out of the game early and Jacoby Brissett led a late comeback as the Patriots walked away with a 25-22 win. This year, both teams are looking to extend a winning streak as the Jets look for their third straight win and the 8-2 Patriots look for an eighth win in a row.

It seems like every year New York Jets fans are asked to debate the same question. That is, should they root for the team “tank” to improve their draft selections, or to win every game left on the schedule. Monday Night Football, Week 10. Tonight the Green Bay Packers host the Philadelphia Eagles. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST.
