Good morning Gang Green Nation!
The New York Jets face the New England Patriots on the road tonight. The Jets have notched two consecutive wins against two of the weaker teams in the NFL. Tonight presents a far stiffer challenge. The Patriots are in first place in the AFC East with a sparkling 8-2 record. It’s probably too much to ask the Jets to emerge with a victory on the road, but it would be nice if they could at least be competitive and put up a good fight. Let’s see how the Jets handle the big step up in...

Last season, the Jets comfortably beat New England 24-3 in their home opener. However, both teams were looking to avoid a five-game losing streak when they met again a month later. The Jets knocked Drake Maye out of the game early and Jacoby Brissett led a late comeback as the Patriots walked away with a 25-22 win. This year, both teams are looking to extend a winning streak as the Jets look for their third straight win and the 8-2 Patriots look for an eighth win in a row.
Let’s break down the Patriots’ roster going position by position:
Quarterbacks...

The Jets are heading into Thursday Night Football against the Patriots fresh off their second win of the season over the Browns in Week 10, and a little over a week out from trading away Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. And as usual, we’re asking how confident you are in the direction of this team.
Breece Hall was constantly referenced as...

As you likely know, the Jets were very active at the trade deadline, dealing star defenders Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner.
It drew less attention, but Breece Hall, who was perhaps the Jets player most subject to trade rumors heading into the deadline, remains with the team. Hall is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.
We might presume this is a sign the Jets want to keep Hall. If they had no intention of re-signing him, it would have made sense to trade him in a lost season and get something in return rather...

Good morning Gang Green Nation!
The New York Jets have yet to disclose who will be starting at quarterback against the New England Patriots on Thursday. The Jets have won two straight games with Justin Fields under center, so it is widely assumed Aaron Glenn won’t rock the boat with a quarterback change on a short week. However, Fields has been mostly abysmal this season, and prior to the Bengals game it was reported the Jets would likely be making a change at starting quarterback, before Tyrod Taylor’s bum knee made that impossible. With Taylor presumably healthy now and the...

It seems like every year New York Jets fans are asked to debate the same question. That is, should they root for the team “tank” to improve their draft selections, or to win every game left on the schedule. And after shipping away both Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner at the trade deadline, the question remains as relevant as ever. For many NY Jets fans, and media, those moves indicated the team has given up on trying to be competitive this season.
Not so fast.
In the ensuing week, the Jets defeated the Cleveland Brown, and there was an instant...

It was a career game for Will McDonald in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. The Jets defensive end registered four sacks. Let’s take a look at how they happened.
Sack #1
This is a 3rd and 15 play. The Jets loop Jermaine Johnson from a wide alignment all the way to the A gap on the other side of the formation.
The Browns don’t do a very good job picking it up, and Jermaine comes through untouched.
McDonald is actually blocked up pretty well initially.
However, Johnson’s pressure flushes Gabriel outside, and McDonald is able to clean up.

The New York Jets have a short week to prepare for a divisional showdown against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. With Garrett Wilson sidelined with a knee injury the Jets offense will be badly outgunned by a very good Patriots defense. Throw in a Patriots offense led by MVP candidate Drake Maye at quarterback and the Jets’ chances of victory Thursday do not look good. Still, the woeful Miami Dolphins just got finished thrashing the Buffalo Bills. You just never know how things will play out from game to game in the...

Monday Night Football, Week 10. Tonight the Green Bay Packers host the Philadelphia Eagles. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST.
The Packers come into this game with a 5-2-1 record, good for first place in the NFC North. A loss tonight would drop the Packers into second place in the division, behind the Detroit Lions. The Packers are coming off a surprising loss to the Carolina Panthers last week. Prior to that loss the Packers had won three straight games.
The Packers have been a well-balanced team this season. They rank in the top ten in...

Garrett Wilson left the Jets’ Week 10 win over the Cleveland Browns after suffering an apparent knee injury. The injury will force him to miss time per ESPN’s Rich Cimini.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss at least three to four weeks with a right knee sprain, a source told ESPN on Monday.
It’s a tough break for the star wide receiver. He had just returned after missing two games from a separate knee injury suffered in the Jets’ Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos in London.
Losing Wilson will have an undeniably...

The Jets have a short week. They will travel to Foxborough for a Thursday Night Football showdown against the New England Patriots in Week 11. Head coach Aaron Glenn isn’t tipping his hand about whether Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor will start at quarterback in that game.
This isn’t a huge surprise. Before the two previous games, Glenn declined to publicly announce a starter. There actually was some gamesmanship three weeks ago as the Jets approached their game in Cincinnati. Likely starter Tyrod Taylor was battling through a knee injury, which prevented him from playing. Struggling Justin Fields got the...

The Jets defeated the Cleveland Browns in Week 10 action. To celebrate the victory, we can give out some game balls.
Breece Hall: This game was up in the air in the second half. Both quarterbacks were badly struggling. It felt to me like some non-quarterback would take the game over and carry his team to victory. T
hat non-quarterback was Hall. Late in the third quarter, the Jets didn’t just make Hall the focal point of the offense. He became the entire offense. Excluding kneel downs, he got the ball approximately three-quarters of the time on the Jets’ final...
