The NFL trade deadline is now just one day away. So far the Jets have been pretty quiet, executing just one minor trade when they shipped Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth round pick. There have been plenty of trade rumors regarding several other Jets players, but thus far they have remained just rumors. My guess is the Jets might do one more relatively minor trade, but the guys who might bring back substantial draft capital will remain...

The New York Jets are coming off their bye week after finally winning their first game of the year against the Cincinnati Bengals a week ago.

The Jets offense had a monster game, with more than 500 yards of total offense. Justin Fields rebounded from being benched the week prior with one of the finest performances of his career. The Jets scored 39 points, yet the defense played so poorly most of the game that it took an epic fourth quarter comeback just to take a one point lead late in the game. Thursday Night Football, Week 9. Tonight the Miami Dolphins host the Baltimore Ravens.

The 2-5 Baltimore Ravens have fielded an uncharacteristically terrible defense this season. They also have been hurt by the absence of star quarterback Lamar Jackson due to injury.
