The fantasy football playoffs have arrived, with Week 15 bringing Round 1 as the real path to a championship begins. While a majority of the focus for fantasy football managers centers on lineup decisions with skill players, it’s the playoffs where a few points can really swing things and that makes kickers more important.
Let’s dive into our Week 15 fantasy kicker rankings, evaluating the best fantasy kickers for the first week of the fantasy football playoffs. Our fantasy K rankings are based on a variety of NFL stats, which we’ve included in the analysis below.
A repeat of last week’s 24-point performance is certainly unlikely, but Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey is again the consensus top fantasy option this week. He’s drawing a Sunday Night Football matchup versus the Minnesota Vikings, who have allowed the second-most field goal attempts (35) in the NFL this season. A big reason for that is because Minnesota boasts one of the best red-zone defenses in the league, allowing the third-lowest touchdown rate (46.2 percent) in the red zone. CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is also questionable for Week 15, so Dallas could experience even greater issues in the red zone.

Coming off a 14-point performance in Atlanta, Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers has now put up double-digit points in five consecutive games. From Weeks 3-14, he is averaging 12.5 fantasy points per game. The consistency is excellent, and we’re ranking him as one of the best fantasy kickers this week because, as the weather starts taking an impacting kickers outdoors, Myers will be in Seattle with a very slim chance of rain on Sunday afternoon. Plus, Colts’ opponents are averaging 2.4 field-goals made per game over the last five contests. It’s going to be another performance with double-digit points for Myers.
A great offense helps produce some of the best fantasy kickers each season, but there’s just as much appeal in a league-average offense with a favorable matchup. That’s demonstrated by the recent success of Ka’imi Fairbairn, who is 16-for-17 on field goal attempts over the last five games with 8 extra points made. The Houston Texans’ opponent, the Arizona Cardinals, are tied for the seventh-most field-goal attempts allowed (27). Houston should be able to move the football with relative effectiveness against Arizona, but its offensive line will likely result in the Texans having to settle for field goals more so than finding the end zone.
