Things got a bit heated between two big-name NFL reporters in Indianapolis during combine week. According to various reports, Fox’s Jordan Schultz got into a heated altercation with NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport over a report about Tom Brady and Matt Stafford meeting.
Earlier this week, Schultz reported that Brady, a minority owner for th Raiders, had met with Stafford in Montana and tried recruiting him to play in Las Vegas during a skiing trip. Rapoport and the NFL Network immediately shut down Schultz’s report by saying that Brady and Stafford own homes in the same community and met by chance.

Schultz was apparently not happy with Rapoport and verbally confronted the NFL Network reporter at a Starbucks in Indianapolis.
We’re told that Rapoport was talking to an agent. Schultz approached Rapoport and said, “We need to talk. Rapoport replied, we’re told, “We don’t need to talk.” (Or specific words to that effect.)
“Schultz then made accusations about Rapoport, we’re told. Rapoport, we’re told, regards the accusations as unfounded. The two men were essentially face to face. “If you have anything to say it to me, say it to my f–ing face,” Schultz said, or specific words to that effect. “If this continues we’re going to have a fucking problem.”
“Rapoport then asked Schultz to step back. “If this happens again, we’re gonna have fu— problem,” Schultz said, or specific words to that effect. “Now I’ll step back.”
NFL security was reportedly made aware of the situation and is looking into the matter.
