Travis Kelce has given his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s music the corniest compliment imaginable, as he told his brother Jason Kelce he listens to it when he’s in a bad mood. Kelce is still reeling from the Chiefs getting blown out in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaking to his brother Jason Kelce, the former Eagles center, on their popular New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce shared that he’s still feeling down after the Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, prompting Jason to ask what he does to pick up his mood. Travis said he listens to his girlfriend Taylor’s music.
Swift and Kelce began dating during the 2023 season and have been a high profile couple ever since, with Swift frequently attending Kelce’s games and Kelce even being worked into one of Swift’s performances.
“Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first, right?” Kelce said on the Wednesday, February 26 episode of his New Heights podcast. “I listen to music that is very telling of my mood… I just listen to Taylor’s music. She has something for everything.”

While Kelce has yet to publicly confirm what his plans for next season are, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said at the NFL Combine earlier this week that he expects the “fired up” future Hall of Famer to play in 2025.
“How we left at the end of the season is that he was fired up. I think we left it as he’d be back and were excited to get him back and get him going,” Veach told reporters in Indianapolis.
