It’s Week 9 and the New Orleans Saints (1-7) are on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Last week, we saw the Saints fall at home in a 23-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and QB Spencer Rattler get benched late in the 3rd quarter in favor of rookie Tyler Shough. Following that decision, a permanent change was expected and on Tuesday, Saints head coach Kellen Moore officially announced that Shough would be the team’s starter moving forward.
So, in this week’s reacts poll, we asked our readers who they felt should be starting for the Saints and how confident they are that the Saints are headed in the right direction?
69% of voters said they think Shough should be starting for the Saints with just 40% saying they feel confident in the team.
Shough told the media on Wednesday that he has stayed prepared and is ready for this opportunity. We will see on Sunday if the rookie QB can create a much-needed spark on the offense and light things up on the field.
