The Las Vegas Raiders are in a six-week drought regarding the win column. Losing to the Miami Dolphins 34-19 continues their ugly streak that doesn’t seem to have an end.
Antonio Pierce made changes to the offensive staff, which improved the offense. The team only punted once, but the defense didn’t force a punt throughout the matchup. It was the area that was supposed to display improvement from previous Raiders teams that became detrimental to their success. If the defensive side of the ball continues to underwhelm with a struggling offense, the Raider’s slide won’t halt for the rest of the season.
In this week’s SB Nation Reacts, we ask Raider Nation their confidence in the team’s direction. It was 18% after Week 11, but gained more confidence in the team's direction, rising to 20% going into Week 12.
Raiders fans saw the offense improve, and young players like Brock Bowers and Jackson Powers-Johnson continued to play well. This could be the reason for the small rise. Now, they face the Denver Broncos this week, hoping to end their six-game slide.
