For over a decade, Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was considered the best player at his position in the league. This season, however, Tucker’s performance fell off a cliff seemingly at random. But a new report suggests that the performance fall-off very well may not have been random, but tied to something much more insidious instead.
The Baltimore Banner reported Thursday afternoon that Tucker stands accused of inappropriate behavior by no less than six different massage therapists in a scenario that is eerily similar to that of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.
“Ravens kicker Justin Tucker engaged in inappropriate behavior at four high-end spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore region, according to six massage therapists, including exposing his genitals, brushing two of them with his exposed penis, and leaving what they believed to be ejaculate on the massage table after three of his treatments,” the report begins.
Two spas banned Tucker from returning at all. While multiple massage therapists allege his behavior was so out of order that they immediately stopped the session. The report states that each incident cited occurred between 2012-1016.
“I’ve told people about this over the years, and they either act like it’s hot goss[ip] or a joke,” one massage therapist told the site. “But it was really degrading.”
Tucker’s representation denied the claims. They stated that the allegations were impossible to prove while also denying that he was ever banned from two spas.
“Mr. Tucker has never behaved inappropriately during any massage therapy session, and certainly never in the manner described” the lawyers said. “Any suggestion to the contrary is a fictitious and utterly baseless claim.”
Neither the Baltimore Ravens nor the NFL offered a comment when approached by the Baltimore Banner.
The report states that Tucker was “immediately terminated as a client” in 2014 by a local massage chain after “a massage therapist reported an incident that allegedly occurred during a massage therapy session with Justin Tucker.”
The owners of another studio, which has since closed, says that it “took immediate and decisive action to ban this individual from our business and services to ensure a safe environment for all.”
Each massage therapist claimed that Tucker’s behavior began subtly and became more and more deliberate, by their accounts, with each passing session.
“I can’t watch sports anymore. I see his face everywhere,” one therapist stated.
Local attorney Michael Belsky is now representing four of the massage therapists who spoke to the Banner.
“The allegations of exploitation that have come from my clients are voluminous, very similar and very troubling,” Belsky told the site. “Each of my clients has expressed profound, long-lasting impact as a result of these allegations.”
In 2022, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the organization had a “zero-tolerance” policy regarding sexual assault after Watson’s suspension.
“I respect what Steve Bisciotti and Dick Cass created here almost 10 years ago,” he said. “Basically, what we decided [was] that we’re kind...
