The New England Patriots returned to the practice field on Friday after taking Thursday off to celebrate Thanksgiving. And as the team prepares for its Week 13 action, it’s clear that this is the most beat-up they have been all season long.
In recent weeks, New England has lost both defensive tackle Milton Williams and offensive lineman Will Campbell to injured reserve, but they aren’t the only guys the team could be without when it takes on the New York Giants.
That’s because several players did not practice with the team on Friday. Harold Landry III, Brendan Schooler, Khyiris Tonga and Jared Wilson did not take the field to practice, as it appears their respective statuses for this game are trending in the wrong direction.
Schooler, Tonga and Wilson all departed New England’s Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals early with injuries, and it appears they are all in danger of missing more time. The biggest surprise of the bunch is Landry, who has been dealing with a lingering knee injury that appears to be flaring up again.
Elsewhere on the injury report, Jahlani Tavai logged a limited participation, while C.J. Dippre and Morgan Moses practiced in full after logging DNPs on Thursday’s estimated injury report.
There is still time for these guys to get healthy before this game, but it is quickly running out. The good news is that the Patriots have an extra day to get ready for their upcoming contest, as they will square off against the Giants on Monday Night Football.
