The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!
The Bears are 6-3 and are 6-1 after dropping the first two games of the season. Caleb Williams is finding ways to win, despite plenty of flaws throughout the roster.
To talk about the Bears at this point in the season, Fox Sports’ Danny Parkins joins the podcast to talk about where Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson, and the Bears are at right now.
Danny had a lot of interesting things to say about the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers, the Bears being the team that led to Brian Daboll’s firing, and whether the Bears can become a playoff team.
Danny’s thoughts on whether the Bears are a playoff team were honest and interesting.
“The Bears gotta get to 10 [wins],” said Parkins. “Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and win 1 more division game, or San Francisco would work too. I think Ben Johnson figures out how to win one of those games. So right now, I’d go 51% Bears make the playoffs… It’s right there in front of them. But to be very clear, they can lose to Cleveland. They are not good enough where they are a guarantee shoo-in to beat anybody. This is the NFL; weird things happen, and they are not a complete, great team. So they’ll be an underdog in the playoffs against whoever they play, on the road most likely, but they are live. They are live.”
