The annual NFL Top 100 Players list is coming soon, and the League just shared a promo clip where a producer asked several players who they believe should be number one. No Chicago Bears were asked; however, one Chicago Bear was mentioned, and he was mentioned by a member of the Green Bay Packers.

“Yeah, Iceman,” Green Bay’s Micah Parsons said in the clip linked below.

Iceman is, of course, the nickname of Chicago’s Caleb Williams, who was recently selected as the Madden 27 cover athlete.

That’s some high praise from a division rival, but considering Parsons’ Packers were on the losing end of consecutive late-game heriocs from Williams, I can see why he views the Iceman that way.

Parsons is a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time First Team All-Pro who is currently rehabbing from reconstructive ACL surgery and a meniscus cleanup. His recovery timeline is likely to land him on the PUP list, which would mean he’d miss at least the first four games of the season.

Green Bay hosts the Bears in Week 5, with the rematch coming on Christmas Day in the Windy City (Week 16).

The NFL Top 100 Players list is voted on by the players, so if Parsons handed in a ballot and if he did place Caleb at number one, then the weighted tabulation could have the Iceman ranked in a favorable spot.

The highest a Bears player has ever ranked in the NFL Top 100 (which began in 2011) was Khalil Mack at #3 in 2019, and the only Chicago quarterback to ever make the list was Justin Fields in 2023 at #86.

Where do you think Caleb Williams ends up ranked this year?
