Which teams should Seattle Seahawks root for in Week 14?

Green Bay Packers over Chicago Bears

This is the featured late game on FOX after the Seahawks play the Falcons. A Green Bay win would bump the Bears out of the No. 1 seed and actually out of the division lead behind their hated rivals. Seattle cannot win out and win the No. 1 seed; they need a Chicago loss to clear the path for that coveted top spot. The Packers are at home and will be favored to win.

Arizona Cardinals over Los Angeles Rams

This is probably not happening. The already eliminated Arizona Cardinals won’t have Marvin Harrison Jr and a host of other regular contributors due to injury. The Rams might have stumbled against the Carolina Panthers but the Cardinals have absolutely cratered in their last two divisional games.

A surprise Cardinals win would, of course, open the door for the Seahawks to take full possession of first place in the NFC West with a win over Atlanta. If Seattle somehow loses, then a Cardinals win would be like a lifeline thrown after jumping into the deep end of the pool.

Los Angeles Chargers over Philadelphia Eagles (Monday)

Having another loss in the column for the Eagles increases the chance of the Seahawks having at least a top two seed by winning the NFC West. Philadelphia is 8-4 and a game behind Seattle in terms of win-loss, but the Eagles play in the weak NFC East and the Seahawks are in a division in which two other teams also have nine wins.
