Analyzing LSU OG Miles Frazier as a potential draft pick for Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns have to repair and reset the offensive line in 2025, and this year’s NFL Draft class is loaded with excellent options in every round for Andrew Berry and Co. to choose from.

The Browns are set to lose two interior offensive linemen to free agency in a couple of weeks, including one of the team’s top depth players in Michael Dunn. It’s no secret that Cleveland’s offensive line needs to be retooled this offseason both inside and out, and this is the perfect draft class to do so.

LSU OG Miles Frazier is a player who could be on the Browns’ radar heading into draft weekend due to his strength, pass-blocking ability, and positional versatility (4-year starter at multiple different positions).

What an Expert is Saying

“Frazier is an ideal fit for an inside zone scheme. His athleticism is sufficient to play in outside zone-focused units, but his range and climb may leave him off of landmarks too frequently for ideal usage.

He should be considered a viable early candidate to start with technical adjustments and would be a high-floor, low-ceiling starter.” - Kyle Crabbs, The 33rd team

Fit with the Browns

Miles Frazier stood out at LSU and the Senior Bowl due to his pass-blocking prowess and functional strength.

He’s shown the ability to be a starter at the NFL level with the refinement of his overall technique, which is something that Cleveland should be able to accomplish with multiple assistant coaches in the offensive line room in 2025. In a perfect world, Frazier would be able to sit and learn in his rookie season and then take over as a starter in 2026.

This theory obviously depends on Joel Bitonio's retirement plans though.

Browns Player Drafting Could Impact

As mentioned above, he “shouldn’t” be much of a threat to Joel Bitonio or Wyatt Teller as a rookie but it looks like at least one of the vets should be gone by 2026.

Frazier would provide excellent depth at both left and right guard in year one along with Zak Zinter, while being in contention to start in year two.

Priority

Medium.
