New England Patriots - NESN.com
There’s at least one NFL expert who sees the New England Patriots’ historic nine-game winning streak ending in Week 13 on “Monday Night Football” vs. the New York Giants.
ESPN analyst Pamela Maldonado and ESPN fantasy analyst Eric Moody see Big Blue giving the Patriots a good game, but both have New England keeping its streak alive.
Maldonado predicted the Patriots to earn a 28-24 victory, while Moody sees New England defeating New York, 31-21.
ESPN analytics writer Seth Walder, meanwhile, is picking the Giants to pull off a 26-24 upset.
Walder sees New York running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. having a big game, particularly as a pass-catcher.
“Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. will record at least four receptions. The Patriots allow targets to RBs 21% of the time, the fourth-highest rate in the league,” he wrote.
The Patriots will be without first-round rookie left tackle Will Campbell (knee) for the primetime showdown and possibly fellow rookie offensive lineman Jared Wilson (ankle) as well.
The G-Men, on the other hand, are expected to get back rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who’s missed the last two games due to a concussion.
