Double-header tonight with two games that are not really interesting.
And we close off one of the final weeks of NFL football with a double-header on our hands tonight, as the Minnesota Vikings (- 320) host the Bears (+ 260) in an NFC North rivalry, and then another (as there are no more bye weeks) with the Raiders (+ 215) hosting the Falcons (- 260).
For the first matchup there is no surprise as the Vikings open as heavy favourites against the Bears, considering they not only play at home but also have been one of the best teams in the NFL with Sam Darnold at quarterback. This will be an interesting test for rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, playing the Vikings’ defense away from home. The Vikes are currently favoured by 7-points with the OU at 44.5.
The Falcons open as 5.5-point favourites, and with a win their playoff chances jump all the way to 35% according to NFL.com. The Raiders have had yet another disastrous season, and are just looking to free agency and the draft, but they could easily play spoiler for a playoff contending team, like they did against the Colts a couple of seasons ago.
Overall, I don’t really feel like tuning into any NFL games tonight, especially after such a tough loss yesterday, and the games played also are not really inspiring. There are also not many playoff implications, as both the Raiders and the Bears are out of the picture a long time ago. Sigh, let’s just get this week over with.
