The Phinsider
The Miami Dolphins proved that they haven’t given up on their head coach, nor have they given up on the 2025 NFL season after defeating their hated division rivals, the Buffalo Bills, on Sunday by a score of 30-13. Miami put boots to behinds against Buffalo in all facets of the game to give fans something to cheer about for only the third time in ten games this year.
For one of the few times all season, choosing an MVP — most valuable ‘Phin — from Sunday’s dismantling of the Bills was not an easy task, but for good reasons. After all, there were plenty of spectacular performances from the guys in aqua and orange to choose from this go around.
Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle nabbed five receptions for 84 yards and a gorgeous deep bomb touchdown reception from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Bradley Chubb led the team with a whopping ten pressures, plus added three total tackles and a sack of Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen.
But one man stood out with a declarative performance for the ages, and that was…
Miami Dolphins Week Ten MVP – RB De’Von Achane
Achane was a man on a mission against the Bills — carrying the ball 22 times for 174 yards (7.9 yards per carry) and two long scoring scampers. He added six receptions for 51 yards — giving him a total of 225 yards of offense against Buffalo.
Sunday’s yardage total was easily Achane’s best mark on the season — topping his week six showing against the Los Angeles Chargers where he had 150 yards rushing and receiving combined. Only Miami’s 70 point game against the Denver Broncos in 2023 saw Achane with more yards from scrimmage (233).
Yes, it was quite the afternoon for Miami’s third-year standout running back — one that will help his cause when contract talks escalate this offseason.
