Jerry Jones once again shows true colors with recent comments
Inside The Star Inside The Star

If you haven’t noticed, this week has been filled with more Jerry Jones drama, and honestly this week made a lot of Dallas fans more upset than they already were.

While doing a victory lap regarding the recent success of a natural-gas venture, Jones said to the Wall Street Journal, “There’s $100 billion present value with gas out there. That’s why I’m talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our defense with the Dallas Cowboys.”

Yes, Jerry Jones actually said that, and he wonders why this fan base is fed up with him and want him to just sell the dang team.

Damage Control

The NFL’s trade deadline is Tuesday, the Cowboys have the worst defense in football, and he made a comment like that, and of course after he started to get called out by everyone and their month, he tried to make sure to take back his words.

“Every day, every time I can, I’m looking for ways to give advantages to the Dallas Cowboys,” Jones said. “Anybody that says I don’t focus on the Cowboys is just living in the moment of frustration, and I get that. And I’m frustrated too.”

It was Jones who said it. On Friday, he downplayed it.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said on @1053thefan that he thinks this recent Jerry Jones quote to the @WSJ has been taken out of context: “There’s $100 billion present value with (natural) gas out there. That’s why I’m talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our…

It was fifteen minutes for his call with the Wall Street Journal. How much more of his time in recent days and weeks has been devoted to his 12-figure natural-gas project?

Hey Jerry, this should have been kept behind closed doors and the only thing you should have said is I am working on fixing our last ranked defense. We understand that you are a billionaire and all you care about it making more money.

The Dallas Cowboys have taken a back seat to him and it sucks for all of us fans.

Dallas will take on the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night and if they do not win that game, they will be two games under .500 and the season will be over.

Kyler Murray looks like he is on track to play and he owns AT&T Stadium. He is a perfect 9-0, so the Cowboys’ defense will once again look like a JV team and allow him to be the next QB to look like they could go into the Hall of Fame tomorrow.
