It will be interesting to see what his value is to the rest of the NFL.
Adam Schefter reported this morning that the Tennessee Titans have give EDGE Harold Landry and his agent permission to seek a trade. Landry’s due $17.5 million this year with a cap number of just over $24 million. He’s still a good player but has not lived up to the $87.5 million contract they gave him back in 2022. To be fair, he did suffer a torn ACL that cost him the entire 2022 season. He hasn’t been the same player since.
Part of that is also due to the players that have been around him. Landry is really good when there is a threat opposite him. The Titans haven’t really had a threat opposite him since he came back from the injury.
It will be interesting to see what Landy's market is like. He did have nine sacks last season. My guess is that the Titans would get at best a late day two pick for him but more likely an early day three pick.
This draft is supposedly pretty deep at EDGE, so if the Titans could get Abdul Carter early and a guy that could be at least a package-type rusher later, that would be ideal.
