The New England Patriots were back in action on a short week on Thursday Night Football, but that didn’t change anything when it came to the team’s play on the field. The Patriots cruised to a fairly effortless 27-14 victory over the Jets, giving them a 9-2 record heading into Week 12.

It wasn’t the Pats’ best game, but at the end of the day, winning is all that matters, especially on a short week. With another tally being added to the win column, let’s look back at the action and pick out four studs and four duds from this contest.

Studs

TreVeyon Henderson

Not even a week after his breakout game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, TreVeyon Henderson starred for the Patriots again. Henderson scored all three of N.E.’s touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) and racked up 93 yards from scrimmage. Rhamondre Stevenson’s absence isn’t ideal, but Henderson is continuing to deliver the goods.

Drake Maye

Right out of the gate, Drake Maye was in rhythm in this one, as he completed his first 11 pass attempts, setting the stage for another efficient performance. It wasn’t his best game, as the Pats struggled to get in the end zone consistently, but Maye still completed 25 of his 34 passes for 281 yards and a TD. New England will take that every day of the week.

Stefon Diggs

It’s been a hectic past couple of days for Stefon Diggs, as his girlfriend, Cardi B, revealed on Thursday that they recently welcomed a baby boy to the world together. That didn’t stop Diggs from turning in a vintage performance, as he enjoyed his turn being Maye’s favorite target by leading all pass catchers with nine receptions for 105 yards.

Christian Barmore

New England’s defensive line was put in a tough spot when Milton Williams was forced out of the game early with an ankle injury. The run defense wasn’t great, but Christian Barmore stepped up and turned in arguably his best game of the season. Barmore had three tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits after taking on a bigger role in Williams’ absence.

Duds

Kyle Williams

While Henderson successfully managed to build off of his breakout game, the same cannot be said for Kyle Williams. Despite playing 45 snaps on offense (third-most among wide receivers), Williams failed to haul in any of his three targets. It’s telling that Demario Douglas outproduced him (three catches for 36 yards) despite playing only 19 snaps.

Andy Borregales

After some early struggles, Andy Borregales has been lights out for New England this season. While he made all three of his extra point attempts and missed just one of his three field goal attempts, Borregales was a bit shaky in these adverse weather conditions. Here’s hoping the former Miami Hurricanes star can adjust to the frigid New England winter.

Craig Woodson

This was a bit of an odd game for Craig Woodson. He still played a big role in the secondary, but he...
