Three straight games of 100 yards receiving puts Metcalf in a league of his own among Seahawks receivers.

The Seattle Seahawks might have suffered their first loss of the 2024 season against the Detroit Lions, but it was a big night for many of Seattle’s star offensive players, including wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Going up against the Lions’ man coverage throughout the night, Metcalf caught 7 passes for 104 yards, drew multiple penalties, and should’ve had a two-point conversion. Metcalf also had a touchdown correctly taken away after replay review showed he was down at the 1-yard line.

With three consecutive 100-yard games under his belt for the first time in his career, DK has done what no other Seahawks receiver has pulled off in franchise history.

None of Steve Largent, Tyler Lockett, Doug Baldwin, or many other beloved and accomplished Seahawks receivers has previously pulled this off. Metcalf himself had only managed three instances of back-to-back 100-yard receiving games before this trifecta.

With 366 yards on 24 catches, Metcalf finds himself third in receiving yards among all NFL receivers, behind only Houston Texans star Nico Collins and New York Giants rookie Malik Nabers. It’s early days, but Metcalf is on course for the best statistical year of his career under first-year offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb.

Now, if we can just fix those fumbles and penalties...
