Dan Quinn: Terry McLaurin will play Sunday night

Dan Quinn spoke to the media after the Washington Commanders’ Friday practice. Team captains were named for their Sunday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos. John Bates, Bobby Wagner, and Tress Way get the nod this week. Washington will also have Doug Williams, Dexter Manley, and Charles Mann as honorary captains. The team will be wearing their ‘Super Bowl Era’ uniforms for their primetime game against the Broncos.

Terry McLaurin is making his return to the field this week. It will be his first game since aggravating his quad injury against the Chiefs in Week 8. He was limited on Wednesday, full yesterday, and had a rest day today. Jayden Daniels, Noah Brown, and Drake Jackson were ruled out for the Broncos game. Daniels is returning from a dislocated elbow on his non-throwing arm. He wasn’t cleared for contact, and was limited all week. Brown and Jackson are both still on injured reserve, and won’t be activated this week.

Robbie Chosen was released earlier today, and that opens up a roster spot for S Will Harris who has been on IR since suffering a fractured fibula in Week 3. Quinn said any roster moves would be announced tomorrow, and Harris is expected to return this week. Noah Brown is close, but he won’t be activated this week.
