The Dallas Cowboys are coming off their bye week with another game in prime time on Monday night. They just played on Monday before the bye week, so it is a bit odd they are doing it again, but either way, we could see a few new starters when they kick off against the Las Vegas Raiders.
As you all know by now, two of those new players they got via trade last Tuesday, linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.
Yet two others could be on the way back from injury that at least would not hurt the Dallas Cowboys.
Logan Wilson and Quinnen Williams will play Monday night, not sure how many snaps, but the extra time off with the bye week probably helped.
Rookie cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. who is trending toward making his NFL debut in Week 11.
A third-round pick out of East Carolina, Revel was considered one of the biggest steals in the NFL draft. He had borderline first-round talent, but was still recovering from a torn ACL, leading to his slide.
Brian Schottenheimer said the plan is for DeMarvion Overshown and Shavon Revel to be ready to play Nov. 17 against the Raiders provided everything goes well this week and next.

The Cowboys’ defense is 29th in the NFL in passing yards after nine games. They’ve struggled in the secondary, and when I mean struggled, like I could run a route and have a chance to make a catch, that is how bad it has been.
Let’s also not forget about DeMarvion Overshown, who is still on track to play this week.
Dallas needs all the help they can get and if they can get a spark from some of these guys, who knows.
The only issue is five out of the next eight games are against teams that have a .500 record or better.
Matt Eberflus is still an issue, and as long as he is calling the defense they are going to struggle. I understand it does have something to do with the personnel, but trying to rush four is not working and he continues to try it.
It’s almost like blitzing every single snap in the sense that you’re sacrificing resources in the backend while aiming for better pass rush or aggressiveness in the run game.
Let’s see how the next few weeks go, but with Green Bay losing the last two games, that helps with their 2026 draft in the first round. Everyone thought the Packers would win the Super Bowl after trading for Micah Parsons, and now their offense looks as bad as ever.
