The Colts players have spoken, and it’s slightly more positive regarding their given grades from just a year prior.
The Indianapolis Colts improved from 22nd last year to 19th regarding their 2025 NFLPA ‘report card’—jumping ahead three spots, but still slightly below league average collectively:
In particular, head coach Shane Steichen received high praise with an “A” grade (good for 11th best), while their strength and conditioning under new head of sports performance Mike Minnis improved to an A- (14th) from a C (29th), just a year ago. The NFLPA report card also notes that a large sauna in the team’s training facility was added within the last year.
Team travel (D+) remains as the lowest grade on the latest report card (ranked 27th league-wide), as Colts players have expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of comfortable first-class seating and personal space on the team plane when traveling. The former which the coaching staff occupies instead—which may be a point of contention.
Team ownership also improved from a C in 2024 (26th) to a B in 2025 (20th) in players’ eyes.
Otherwise, it appears that the Colts had relatively consistent, average to good grades across the board regarding this latest NFLPA team report card. However, there’s definitely some room for improvement as a whole within the organization—if you ask the Indy players surveyed.
