College football players to watch- NCAA Week 15
Canal Street Chronicles Canal Street Chronicles

We’ve turned the final corner of the 2025 college football regular season now and have reached conference championship weekend. With plenty of coaching changes, playoff conversations, and bowl mania fever beginning to set in, these are players I feel Saints fans should be watching in the waning of the football year. Check it out!

Bray Hubbard

Alabama’s defensive back has been a menace all over the football field this year. He’s gotten eight pass deflections, four interceptions, and forced three fumbles thus far. He and the Crimson Tide will have a chance to solidify their spot in the college football playoff with a victory versus the #3 Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship.

LJ Martin

The Cougars’ junior tailback eclipsed 1,000 yards on the ground for the first time in his career this season. With over 1,200 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, BYU’s offense could get a big boost from Martin as they try to knock off #4 Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship.

Daylen Everette

Everette is a talented 6’1”, 190 lbs., cornerback who could be a late-round steal for New Orleans. While not having the statistical season you’d expect from the senior Bulldog, Daylen has five pass defenses this season and should be a formidable opponent for Ty Simpson this weekend.

What are some other names you’re keeping an eye on as we inch closer towards bowl season? Are there any players in particular that you’re hoping to see in a Saints’ uniform in 2026? Let us hear it in the comments!
